Yango Ads and Flyby Partner on Mobile Digital OOH in UAE

2026-10-30 · via DailyDOOH

Yango Ads, the advertising technology arm of Yango Group, has partnered with Flyby Advertising, a UAE-German AdTech company, to sell advertising on Flyby's network of digital screens mounted on delivery vehicles across the UAE. For media buyers and operators tracking where ad budgets move next, this is another sign that mobile DOOH is being treated as a distinct inventory category rather than a novelty.

Flyby's product is what it calls Smart Delivery Boxes: delivery vehicles fitted with digital screens and connected technology that double as moving billboards. According to the release, the screens operate at eye level and travel through residential neighbourhoods, commercial districts and busy urban areas, with Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Jumeirah Beach Residence and Bluewaters named as coverage areas. The company also says the boxes include telematics and AI-based rider safety monitoring, though the announcement gives no detail on how that safety system works or what data it collects.

The deal gives Yango Ads' advertiser and agency relationships access to this inventory, while Flyby gains a commercial sales channel backed by a larger ad tech company. Yango Ads says the network supports location- and time-based campaign targeting through what it calls its AdTech platform, but the release does not specify measurement methodology, audience verification, or how campaigns are priced.

What this means for operators

Mobile DOOH on delivery and logistics vehicles is not a new format globally, but it remains a small slice of the digital signage and DOOH market compared with fixed screens in malls, transit stations and retail. For operators running static networks, the pitch here is familiar: mobility adds reach into areas fixed screens cannot cover, and last-mile delivery fleets provide a built-in distribution footprint without the real estate costs of permanent installations.

What the announcement does not address is scale. There is no figure given for how many Smart Delivery Boxes are currently operating, what screen specifications they use, or how campaigns will be measured against industry DOOH standards. Pricing, campaign minimums and audience measurement partners are also not mentioned.

Flyby describes itself as having an R&D centre in Munich and operations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The partnership is limited to the UAE market for now, according to the companies' statements, with no mention of expansion plans to other Gulf markets or beyond.

Flyby And @YangoAds UAE #MOOH Partnership

Yango Ads , the advertising technology division of Yango Group, and Flyby Advertising , a UAE-German AdTech company specialising in mobile digital out-of-home (MOOH) advertising, have partnered to give brands in the UAE a new way to reach people in the neighbourhoods where they live and work.

Evgenii Pavlov , General Manager for Yango Ads in MEA, told us “What excites me about this partnership is that we share a belief in the future of advertising and a willingness to help build it. I’ve always enjoyed getting involved early, when an idea is fresh and there’s room to shape what it becomes. That’s what we’re doing with Flyby: bringing a bold new advertising format to more brands and helping it grow.”

Bringing together two technology-driven companies with innovation at their core, the partnership combines Yango Ads’ advertising relationships and commercial expertise with Flyby’s distinctive mobile digital advertising network.

Flyby transforms delivery vehicles into moving digital billboards through its Smart Delivery Boxes, which feature digital screens and connected technology. The network brings digital advertising onto the streets, moving through residential neighbourhoods, commercial districts and busy urban areas such as Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Jumeirah Beach Residence and Bluewaters.

Unlike traditional outdoor advertising, which relies on fixed placements, Flyby’s mobile digital out-of-home network moves with the city. Its screens operate at eye level, bringing brands into the everyday environments where people live, work and travel. Powered by Flyby’s AdTech platform, the network supports location- and time-based campaigns, giving advertisers greater flexibility in how and where they reach audiences.

Through this partnership, Yango Ads’ network of international brands gains access to an innovative, technology-enabled medium. The collaboration creates new opportunities for advertisers to extend their campaigns into the physical world while expanding the range of media available to brands and agencies.

Saher Khattab , Head of Advertising at Flyby, said “Yango Ads and Flyby share the ambition to challenge established ways of advertising. Together, we are combining strong advertising networks with an innovative, mobile medium that brings brands closer to people in their everyday environments. We’re excited about what we can build together and the new possibilities this opens up for advertisers.”

By combining complementary strengths and a shared commitment to innovation, Yango Ads and Flyby are building a mobile advertising network that reflects how cities actually move, and giving brands a way to move with them.

Flyby is a UAE-German AdTech company transforming last-mile delivery into a dynamic advertising channel. Its Smart Delivery Boxes combine digital moving OOH advertising with real-time telematics and AI-powered rider safety monitoring. With an R&D centre in Munich and operations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Flyby is driving innovation in mobility, advertising, and road safety.
