Vue Billboards Embeds Self-Serve DOOH DSP on Crystal Clear Media's Site

2026-11-02 · via DailyDOOH

Vue Billboards, a self-serve programmatic DOOH demand-side platform, has integrated its booking tool directly into the website of Crystal Clear Media Group, a UK media owner running digital billboards across Greater Manchester and London. The move lets advertisers browse Crystal Clear's screen network and book campaigns straight from the media owner's own site, without going through a sales team or a separate DSP login.

For operators and media owners watching the self-serve DOOH trend, this is a notable example of a platform embedding itself as a widget rather than asking buyers to visit a third-party marketplace. According to Vue, the embed shows Crystal Clear Media's full portfolio on an interactive map, covering landmark sites such as the Axis Tower screen in Manchester, roadside billboards on commuter routes, and retail screens at locations including London Designer Outlet. Advertisers can reportedly check location details, availability, and scheduling windows, then book and launch a campaign at any budget with what the companies describe as transparent pricing.

This is Vue's first UK website integration. It follows an earlier launch with US media owner Liquid Outdoor Media, a pairing Vue founder Brian Becker cited as evidence that "any media owner, in any market, can turn its website into a storefront."

What the integration actually does

According to the companies, the setup requires no website rebuild or CMS upgrade on the media owner's end. Crystal Clear Media selected which inventory to expose, and Vue generated the embedded interface for the site. Campaigns booked through the widget flow into Crystal Clear Media's existing programmatic workflow as standard creatives awaiting approval. Vue says the media owner retains the direct advertiser relationship and control over how inventory is presented, while Vue handles the underlying campaign infrastructure and programmatic delivery.

Rob Nicoll, Marketing Manager at Crystal Clear Media Group, called the integration "incredibly straightforward" in the companies' announcement.

What's missing from the announcement

The release does not say how many screens in Crystal Clear's network are available through the embed versus reserved for direct sales, nor does it disclose pricing terms, revenue share, or minimum spend thresholds for self-serve bookings. There is also no detail on verification or measurement tools for advertisers booking this way, which remains a common question for self-serve DOOH compared with traditional programmatic buys through established SSPs and DSPs.

For media owners evaluating similar tools, the pitch here is low technical overhead: no CMS changes, inventory selection controlled by the owner, and campaigns slotting into existing approval workflows. Whether that translates into meaningful incremental bookings, rather than simply a faster front door for advertisers who would have called anyway, is not something the announcement addresses.

Vue Billboards DSP Crystal Clear Media Group Integration

Vue Billboards , the self-serve programmatic digital out-of-home (DOOH) demand-side platform, has announced that its DSP is now integrated directly into the website of Crystal Clear Media Group, the UK media owner that owns and operates a digital billboard network across Greater Manchester and London.

Brian Becker , Founder and Owner of Vue Billboards told us “Crystal Clear Media’s website is now a fully functioning storefront for its entire network. Putting Vue directly on their website extends that speed to the buyer. An advertiser can find their spectacular on the Axis Tower or a roadside billboard outside London and book a campaign in minutes, without a single email. Our embed tool going live in the UK alongside Liquid Outdoor in the US shows that any media owner, in any market, can turn its website into a storefront.”

Crystal Clear Media is Vue’s first UK website integration. It follows Vue’s launch with Liquid Outdoor Media in the US earlier this year.

Planning and buying a DOOH campaign has traditionally meant contacting a sales team, going through third-party intermediaries, or logging into a separate DSP. With Vue embedded on Crystal Clear Media’s Screens page, advertisers can see the company’s full portfolio on an interactive map. That portfolio runs from the landmark Axis Tower screen in Manchester city center to roadside sites on key commuter routes and retail screens at destinations such as London Designer Outlet. Advertisers can review location details, check availability and scheduling windows, and book and launch campaigns at any budget, with transparent pricing.

For media owners, the integration needs no website rebuild or CMS upgrade. Crystal Clear Media chose the inventory to display, and Vue generated the embedded interface for its site. Campaigns booked through the embed flow into Crystal Clear Media’s existing programmatic workflow as standard creatives ready for approval. The media owner keeps the direct relationship with the advertiser and full control over how its inventory is presented, while Vue handles campaign infrastructure and programmatic delivery.

“We’re delighted to have integrated the Vue platform into the Crystal Clear Media website, making it easier than ever to explore our growing network and adding another route for planning and booking campaigns with us. The integration was incredibly straightforward, thanks to Brian and the team at Vue Billboards,” said Rob Nicoll , Marketing Manager at Crystal Clear Media Group.

The launch expands Vue’s push to make programmatic DOOH buying self-serve for brands of every size, and to give media owners a direct sales channel on their own websites. Advertisers can explore Crystal Clear Media’s inventory here .
