VIOOH Adds Starlite Media's 800 US Retail Screens to Ad Platform

2026-09-09 · via DailyDOOH

VIOOH has struck a deal to bring Starlite Media's US retail screen network onto its programmatic supply-side platform, giving advertisers automated access to roughly 800 digital displays placed in shopping destinations across the country.

According to the companies, Starlite Media's network delivers more than 650 million monthly impressions from large-format, full-motion screens positioned at entrances, walkways, car parks and exterior walls near grocery, pharmacy and big-box retailers. The network spans more than 70 designated market areas, per the release.

For operators and media owners watching the retail media buildout, this is another sign that shopping-center and parking-lot inventory is being pulled into the same programmatic pipes used for street-level and transit DOOH. VIOOH has been expanding its US footprint through these kinds of supply deals rather than building owned screens, positioning itself as an aggregator that buyers can transact through without negotiating directly with each network owner.

Gavin Wilson, VIOOH's global chief commercial officer, said the partnership "represents a significant expansion into the US retail shopping center environment, offering brands exceptional access to consumers at the critical point of purchase." He said making the inventory available programmatically gives buyers "greater flexibility to connect with valuable retail audiences throughout their shopping journeys."

Danny Gonzalez, Starlite Media's EVP of programmatic, framed the deal from the supply side, saying VIOOH's focus on "curating high-quality, large-format inventory aligns perfectly with our mission" and that the tie-up "makes it easier for advertisers to transact with confidence and access strategically placed screens in high-traffic retail environments."

What's not in the announcement

The release does not specify pricing, minimum spend, or whether the deal is exclusive to VIOOH or one of several SSPs Starlite Media works with. It also does not name the hardware or CMS running the screens, nor does it break out how the 650 million monthly impressions figure was measured or verified. For buyers used to comparing retail media networks on audience measurement standards, that absence is worth flagging before committing budget.

For screen operators outside this specific network, the deal is a reminder that programmatic access is increasingly the default expectation for retail-adjacent inventory. Networks that cannot offer an SSP integration risk being harder to buy against competitors who can.
