VIOOH Adds Adams Outdoor's 460+ Digital Billboards to Programmatic Platform

2026-10-31 · via DailyDOOH

VIOOH has struck a partnership with Adams Outdoor Advertising to bring the latter's digital billboard inventory into VIOOH's programmatic supply-side platform. For media buyers and the operators who manage this inventory, it means Adams Outdoor's boards become purchasable through programmatic channels rather than relying solely on direct or traditional buys.

According to the companies, the Adams Outdoor network covers 14 states and includes more than 460 digital billboards, generating over 4.9 billion monthly impressions. The release describes the inventory as concentrated along highways, commuter corridors and high-traffic roadways, with markets named including Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham, Charleston, Savannah, Norfolk-Virginia Beach, Detroit-Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, Madison and the Ohio Valley region including Pittsburgh.

Gavin Wilson, VIOOH's Global Chief Commercial Officer, said the deal brings Adams Outdoor's "trusted, high-impact inventory" into the programmatic marketplace, framing it as faster and more flexible access for buyers. Josh Scharfberg, Chief Revenue Officer at Adams Outdoor, said the partnership helps make the company's growing digital network more accessible as it expands its footprint.

This is a supply-side deal, not a new product launch. It adds another regional outdoor operator to VIOOH's roster of programmatic partners, continuing a trend where SSPs compete on the breadth and quality of billboard and DOOH networks they can offer through programmatic pipes. For operators running Adams Outdoor's screens, the practical effect should be exposure to additional demand sources without a change in the physical network itself.

The announcement does not specify deal terms, which DSPs or exchanges will carry the inventory, or a timeline for when programmatic access goes live. It also does not detail whether all 460-plus billboards are included at launch or whether the rollout will be phased by market. Readers wanting operational specifics, such as minimum spend, targeting capabilities or measurement partners, will need to wait for further detail from either company.
