JCDecaux-owned programmatic marketplace Viooh has struck a partnership with Screenverse that brings more than 38,000 US digital screens onto its supply-side platform, giving media buyers programmatic access to inventory across retail, residential, office, transit, entertainment and healthcare venues.

According to the companies, the deal covers a reported 7.7 billion monthly impressions in major markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, Philadelphia and Dallas-Fort Worth. For operators running screens in any of those environments through Screenverse's network, the tie-up means another programmatic buying channel pointed at their inventory without requiring a separate integration on their end.

The mechanics are straightforward: Screenverse aggregates and represents digital advertising networks across US venues, and Viooh's marketplace plugs into that inventory so agencies and brands already buying through Viooh's existing workflow can add Screenverse's screens to campaigns. Viooh says this gives buyers "more flexibility in planning and activating campaigns" across the Screenverse portfolio, though the announcement does not detail pricing, minimum spend, or how inventory is packaged for buyers.

Where this fits

The US remains one of the largest and most fragmented DOOH markets, with inventory spread across countless local and regional network operators rather than concentrated in a handful of large players. Deals like this one are how programmatic platforms build reach without owning screens outright: by plugging into aggregators such as Screenverse that already represent a wide swath of venue types.

Gavin Wilson, Viooh's global chief commercial officer, framed the deal as strengthening the company's US presence, calling it "one of the most important programmatic DooH markets globally." Screenverse's Montana Accavallo, senior vice president of programmatic and client strategy, said the integration adds to the company's existing platform relationships rather than replacing them, suggesting Screenverse inventory is likely already available through other programmatic SSPs.

For network operators whose screens sit within Screenverse's aggregated footprint, the practical effect is broader exposure to Viooh's buyer base without a new direct integration to manage. For advertisers, it means one more route to reach the same pool of screens spanning stores, offices, apartment buildings and transit hubs.

The announcement does not specify contract terms, exclusivity, or a timeline for when buyers can begin transacting against the combined inventory. It also does not break down how many of the 38,000 screens fall into each venue category, which would matter to advertisers targeting specific environments such as retail versus residential.
