Uniguest has released version 26.3 of Hub AV, the digital signage and IPTV platform underpinning its Sports Hub offering for stadiums and arenas, adding live video ingest, sports data visualizations and a new content workflow tied to Microsoft Onedrive.

For venue operators, the headline addition is SRT Stream Ingest, which lets Hub AV pull in secure, low-latency broadcast feeds and push them out as multicast TV channels across a venue's screen network. According to Uniguest, this can be used to distribute press conferences, training footage, partner programming and alternate camera angles to hospitality suites, concourses and back-of-house areas. That is a practical feature for venues that need to move live or near-live feeds around a building without relying on a full broadcast infrastructure at every screen.

The release also adds Major League Baseball statistics visualizations, letting operators show player stats, rosters, bios, game summaries and hit charts on digital signage and interactive TV alongside live video and sponsor content. The announcement does not say whether similar data integrations are planned for other sports leagues, or how the MLB data feed is sourced and licensed.

Content management and cloud additions

On the content management side, Hub AV 26.3 introduces support for Microsoft Onedrive folders, allowing approved folders to feed directly into the Hub AV signage library. Uniguest says this is meant to make it easier for marketing, sponsorship, guest services and operations teams to push updated game-day content without going through a separate ingest step. For venues juggling multiple departments producing content on tight game-day timelines, a direct folder sync removes one layer of manual upload.

Uniguest also lists smaller updates in this release: improvements to the Hub AV Interactive TV Portal, expanded cloud support for Samsung Hospitality TVs and the company's own P3 player, and EPG access additions. Specifics on what changed in the Interactive TV Portal or which Samsung Hospitality TV models are now supported are not detailed in the announcement.

The update follows Uniguest's recent decision to rename its Tripleplay product line to Hub AV, part of a broader effort to consolidate technology acquired and developed over the years under a single Hub brand. Hub AV combines IPTV, digital signage and video distribution, and sits at the center of the company's pitch to sports venues, which increasingly want screens that can react to live game events and sponsor needs in real time rather than just display static schedules.

James Keen, EVP of marketing at Uniguest, said fan expectations around venue screens have shifted, with commercial and operations teams needing flexibility to respond to what is happening in the building as it happens. The announcement does not include pricing or a timeline for when Hub AV 26.3 becomes available to existing customers running earlier Tripleplay-branded deployments.

Hub AV 26.3 adds low-latency video ingest, MLB statistics visualizations and Onedrive integration for managing content across stadium and arena screens.

Uniguest has released version 26.3 of its Hub AV software, adding new live video, sports data and content management capabilities to its Sports Hub platform for stadiums, arenas, and other sports venues.

The update adds SRT Stream Ingest, allowing Hub AV to receive secure, low-latency broadcast feeds and redistribute them as multicast TV channels throughout a venue. The capability can be used to deliver feeds such as press conferences, training footage, partner programming and alternative camera views to hospitality suites, concourses and back-of-house areas.

Hub AV 26.3 also introduces Major League Baseball statistics visualizations for digital signage and interactive TV applications. Live data including player statistics, rosters, player bios, game summaries and hit charts can be presented alongside live video and branded content.

The release comes shortly after the company renamed Tripleplay as Hub AV as part of a wider consolidation of its technology portfolio under the Hub brand.

The rebranding is intended to make the relationship between Uniguest’s various technologies clearer as the company brings products developed internally and acquired over the years under a common identity. Hub AV combines IPTV, digital signage and video distribution capabilities and is a central part of the company’s Sports Hub offering.

Content management gets Onedrive support

The latest release also adds Microsoft Onedrive folder support, allowing approved folders to feed content directly into the Hub AV digital signage library. The integration aims to make it easier for marketing, sponsorship, guest services, and operations teams to update game-day content.

Additional changes also include enhancements to the Hub AV Interactive TV Portal, expanded cloud support for Samsung Hospitality TVs and Uniguest’s P3 player, and EPG access.

“The role of screens in sports venues has changed enormously,” said James Keen, EVP of marketing at Uniguest. “Fans expect the experience around the game to be every bit as immediate and engaging as the action itself, while commercial and operations teams need the flexibility to react to what is happening in the venue in real time.”
