Uniguest has launched Community Hub, a digital engagement platform aimed at senior living communities that folds digital signage, resident TV, mobile applications, shuttle tracking and other communication tools into one system. For operators juggling separate signage players, TV channels and paper notices across a community, the pitch is one back end instead of several.

According to Uniguest, staff can create and manage activities centrally and push that content out across digital signage, in-room television, mobile apps and printed materials without recreating it for each format. That matters in senior living specifically because resident populations vary widely in how comfortable they are with technology, so operators tend to keep print and TV running alongside any digital rollout rather than replacing them outright.

The platform also carries resident profiles, attendance tracking and programming analytics. Uniguest says these tools are meant to show participation patterns and resident interests, which activities staff can then use to plan programming and allocate resources. The announcement does not say how attendance is captured, whether through check-in kiosks, badges, app logins or some other method, so operators will want to ask before assuming any particular hardware is required.

Two apps still to come

Community Hub is launching now without two pieces Uniguest has flagged as coming later: a Resident App that will recommend activities based on interests and let residents join groups and connect with neighbors, and a Family App that will send relatives updates and notifications about a resident's activity participation. Uniguest has not given launch dates for either.

That means communities adopting Community Hub today are buying into the signage, TV, shuttle tracking and analytics pieces, with the more consumer-facing resident and family apps arriving on an unannounced timeline. Operators evaluating the platform now should factor that staggered rollout into any deployment planning.

Context in the sector

Uniguest points to the 2026 CTO Hotline report from Ziegler Linkage Funds and Leadingage CAST as evidence of its standing in senior living, citing a figure of 37% of surveyed nonprofit senior living and care providers naming Uniguest as a social connectedness and engagement technology partner, up from 32% in 2025. That survey data comes from Uniguest's own citation of the report rather than independent verification in the announcement, and it describes partner selection rather than market share or platform deployment numbers.

Community Hub is built as a modular system, according to Uniguest, meaning operators can add capabilities over time rather than committing to the full stack at launch. For communities already running Uniguest signage or resident TV, that modularity is likely the main selling point: a path to consolidate existing tools under one dashboard rather than a wholesale rip-and-replace.

The new platform combines digital signage, resident TV and other communication tools, with analytics to help operators track engagement and participation.

Uniguest has launched Community Hub, a digital engagement platform for senior living communities that brings together digital signage, resident TV, mobile applications, shuttle tracking and other communication tools in a unified system.

The launch builds on Uniguest’s presence in the senior living sector. According to the 2026 CTO Hotline report from Ziegler Linkage Funds and Leadingage CAST, 37% of surveyed nonprofit senior living and care providers selected Uniguest as a social connectedness and engagement technology partner, up from 32% in 2025.

Community Hub allows operators to distribute information through digital signage, in-room television, mobile apps and printed materials, accommodating residents with different levels of comfort using technology.

Staff can create and manage activities centrally and publish information across multiple channels without duplicating content for each format.

The platform also includes resident profiles, attendance tracking and programming analytics, providing insights into participation patterns and resident interests. These capabilities are designed to help operators refine activities and allocate resources more effectively.

Uniguest plans to introduce two additional applications. The forthcoming Resident App will allow residents to discover activities based on their interests, join groups and connect with neighbors through personalized recommendations.

A separate Family App will provide relatives with community updates and notifications about activity participation.

Community Hub uses a modular approach, allowing operators to add capabilities based on their requirements and expand the system over time. Uniguest has not announced launch dates for the two apps.
