Uniguest Launches Community Hub Digital Platform for Senior Living

Uniguest has launched Community Hub, a digital engagement platform built for senior-living communities that ties together digital signage, resident TV, mobile apps, live shuttle-bus tracking and other communication tools under one system, according to the company.
For operators running screens across assisted-living and retirement communities, the pitch is consolidation. Rather than managing separate systems for hallway signage, in-room TV channels and activity calendars, staff create content once centrally and publish it across channels, Uniguest says. The company frames this as a way to cut repetitive administration so staff can spend more time with residents rather than updating multiple systems with the same information.
The platform also pulls in resident profiles, programming analytics and attendance data, which Uniguest says gives staff a clearer picture of who is participating in what, and lets them adjust activity schedules or staffing based on actual usage patterns. That kind of data layer is increasingly standard in content management systems aimed at healthcare and senior-living verticals, where proving engagement and occupancy of common spaces matters to operators and to families evaluating a community.
Modular rollout, apps still coming
Uniguest describes Community Hub as modular, meaning communities can adopt pieces of it incrementally rather than deploying everything at once. That is a sensible approach for a sector where IT budgets and staff tech literacy vary widely between independent operators and larger chains.
Two pieces of the platform are not yet available. A Resident App, intended to let residents browse activities, join groups and connect with neighbours directly, is described as forthcoming. A Family App, which would send family members notifications about activity participation and community updates, is also still in development. The announcement does not say when either app will ship, so for now the live product appears to be the signage, resident TV and shuttle-tracking components, with the mobile layer to follow.
James Keen, Uniguest's executive vice-president of marketing, said the platform is about making connections easier for residents, giving families peace of mind and freeing staff time, according to the company's statement.
The announcement does not disclose pricing, specific hardware requirements, which displays or media players the signage component runs on, or named launch customers. For signage integrators and resellers working in the senior-living space, the key details to watch for will be how Community Hub's signage module interacts with existing CMS deployments in these facilities and what hardware, if any, Uniguest is bundling or requiring alongside the software.

Community Hub incorporates digital signage, resident TV, mobile apps, shuttle tracking and other communication tool to help residents access information and participate in community life.
Uniguest has launched a digital engagement platform designed for senior-living communities that incorporates digital signage, resident TV, mobile apps, live shuttle-bus tracking and other communication tools.
Community Hub makes it easier for residents to discover activities, access information and participate in community life, while simplifying everyday communication and administration for staff.
The platform makes information accessible through apps, in-room TV, digital signage and printed materials, allowing communities to reach residents through the channels that work best for them.
Community Hub enables staff to create and manage activities centrally, publishing information across multiple channels without having to recreate content for each one. This reduces repetitive administration, allowing teams to focus more of their time on delivering meaningful resident experiences.
Resident profiles, programming analytics and attendance data provide a clearer view of individual interests and participation patterns, helping staff to refine programming and to allocate resources more effectively.
Community Hub’s modular approach allows organisations to introduce capabilities according to their needs, and to expand them over time.
The forthcoming Resident App will give residents a more personal way to explore community life, from discovering activities that match their interests to joining groups and connecting with neighbours.
For families, the Family App will offer a window into their loved one’s everyday experiences. Activity participation notifications and community updates will help families stay informed and connected, providing reassurance and new opportunities for conversation.
James Keen, executive vice-president of marketing at Uniguest, said: “A better community experience starts with connection.
Community Hub is about making those connections easier – helping residents feel part of their community, giving families greater peace of mind and freeing up staff to spend more time with residents.”
