Uniguest Acquires Visix, Adding Room Scheduling and Wayfinding

2026-08-14 · via DailyDOOH

Uniguest has acquired Visix, an Atlanta-based digital signage, room management, and visual communications vendor, according to the companies. The deal adds Visix's wayfinding and room scheduling products to Uniguest's existing engagement platform and pushes the combined company further into corporate and higher education accounts.

For operators already running Uniguest-connected estates, the acquisition signals consolidation rather than a new product launch. Visix has been selling into workplace and campus environments for more than four decades, according to the release, with a focus on secure, scalable signage alongside room scheduling and wayfinding systems. Uniguest says the combination lets it offer a broader suite to customers in corporate, higher education, and healthcare settings where multiple engagement tools, not just signage, are typically procured together.

Matt Goche, CEO of Uniguest, said workplace and campus communications are becoming more critical as organizations look for better ways to connect with staff, and that expanding into these verticals has been a strategic priority. He said Visix's market presence combined with Uniguest's global reach and engagement expertise positions the company to deliver more impactful solutions to customers. Sean Matthews, CEO of Visix, called the move a natural fit and said the two companies share values.

Part of a broader roll-up

This is not Uniguest's first purchase. The company, backed by private equity firm Atlantic Street Capital, has been acquiring across healthcare, senior living, hospitality, sports, education, and enterprise markets, according to the release. Visix becomes the latest addition to what Uniguest calls its digital engagement ecosystem.

What the announcement does not say is how Visix's product line will be integrated with Uniguest's existing CMS and hardware offerings, whether the Visix brand or platform will continue as a standalone product, or what happens to existing Visix customer contracts and support arrangements. It also does not disclose deal terms, headcount changes, or a timeline for integration.

For competitors in the workplace and campus signage space, the deal adds another consolidated player with room scheduling, wayfinding, and signage under one roof, a bundle that some rivals already offer piecemeal through partnerships. For current Visix customers, the immediate practical questions, support continuity, pricing, and product roadmap, are not addressed in the announcement and will likely need to come from account teams as the acquisition closes.

Uniguest has acquired Visix, an Atlanta‑based provider of enterprise‑grade digital signage, room management, and visual communications solutions.

Matt Goche , CEO of Uniguest told us “Workplace and campus communications are becoming increasingly critical as organizations look for better ways to connect with their people. Expanding deeper into these verticals has been a strategic priority for us, and bringing Visix into Uniguest accelerates that vision. Their established presence in the market, combined with our global reach and engagement expertise, positions us to deliver even more impactful solutions to the customers we serve.”

The acquisition expands Uniguest’s presence in the corporate and higher education markets and strengthens its position as a leading provider of engagement technologies across multiple end‑user environments.

For more than four decades, Visix has helped organizations communicate more effectively through secure, scalable, and highly customizable technology. Its digital signage, room scheduling solutions, and wayfinding systems support clients seeking to modernize communication, enhance safety, and create more connected experiences for employees, students, and visitors.

Sean Matthews , CEO of Visix, said “This is a tremendous moment for Visix and our team. Joining a global organization like Uniguest – one that is growing quickly and is committed to building a strong, collaborative culture – feels like a natural fit for us. We’re excited to join a company that shares our values, and we look forward to what we can accomplish together.”

The acquisition supports Uniguest’s strategy to bring together leading digital signage and engagement technologies under one global platform. It also creates opportunities to deliver a broader suite of solutions to customers across corporate campuses, universities, healthcare systems, and other complex environments.

Uniguest is a portfolio company of Atlantic Street Capital. The addition of Visix marks another strategic expansion of Uniguest’s digital engagement ecosystem, following acquisitions across healthcare, senior living, hospitality, sports, education, and enterprise markets.
