TPS Engage Rebrands as Blindspot, Pitches Self-Serve DOOH Booking

2026-08-05 · via DailyDOOH

TPS Engage has rebranded as Blindspot, repositioning itself as a self-serve platform that lets advertisers book digital out-of-home screens the way they might book a flight. According to the company, the platform gives access to three million screens across more than 50 countries, including locations such as Times Square, the Nasdaq Tower, airports, transit and street-level networks, all shown on a single map and priced by the hour.

For operators and network owners, the pitch is about how inventory gets sold. Blindspot says advertisers can buy exact screens for exact hours at per-play prices that are shown before purchase, with no minimums, no retainers and no sales calls. That is a direct challenge to the traditional planning and buying process in DOOH, which typically runs through sales teams, RFPs and negotiated packages rather than an open, priced map of inventory.

The company says its point of difference is an AI tool called Blinky, described as an agentic media planner that turns a one-line brief into a booked, screen-by-screen plan in under a minute. Blindspot also claims creative can swap automatically based on weather, traffic and events, and that campaigns report on outcomes such as foot traffic, web lift and cost per acquisition rather than impressions alone. None of these mechanisms are detailed in the announcement, so how the automatic creative swapping or the outcome measurement actually works, and which data sources feed it, is not explained.

Blindspot, operated by TPS Engage, was founded in Bucharest and is now headquartered in New York, with additional offices in Miami, Dubai, Seoul and Bucharest, the company says.

On traction, Blindspot claims more than 25,000 advertisers have used the platform, ranging from small startups to the United Nations, and names Samsung, Pepsi, Unilever, P&G, Duolingo, UiPath, Turkish Airlines, MrBeast and Snoop Dogg among its clients. It cites specific results including a 168% in-store sales lift for Pepsi, a 104% increase in web traffic for UiPath, and store visits delivered at $0.82 each. These figures come from the company and have not been independently verified.

For screen owners and network operators, the rebrand signals continued momentum behind programmatic, self-serve buying models in DOOH, which put pressure on traditional ad sales relationships and pricing structures. The announcement does not say how screen owners are onboarded to the Blindspot marketplace, what revenue share or terms apply, or how pricing is set for individual screens. It also does not specify when the rebrand takes effect or whether existing TPS Engage contracts and integrations, such as its listed work with Perion and Place Exchange, carry over under the new name.

Blindspot is the self-serve platform that lets anyone book a digital billboard the way they’d book a flight. Three million screens across 50+ countries — from Times Square and the Nasdaq Tower to airports, transit and street-level networks — sit on a single map, priced by the hour, with no minimums, no retainers and no sales calls.

Founded in Bucharest and now headquartered in New York, the company (operated by TPS Engage) has offices in Miami, Dubai, Seoul and Bucharest.

They say what makes it different is precision that the rest of the industry doesn’t offer: advertisers buy exact screens for exact hours at per-play prices shown before purchase, and Blinky — Blindspot’s agentic AI media planner — turns a one-line brief into a booked, screen-by-screen plan in under a minute. Creative swaps automatically with weather, traffic and events, and every campaign reports real outcomes: foot traffic, web lift and cost per acquisition, not just impressions.

More than 25,000 advertisers — from two-person startups to the United Nations — have used the platform, including Samsung, Pepsi, Unilever, P&G, Duolingo, UiPath, Turkish Airlines, MrBeast and Snoop Dogg. Measured results include a +168% in-store sales lift for Pepsi, +104% web traffic for UiPath, and store visits delivered at $0.82 each — performance-channel numbers from a medium the industry still plans on gut feel.
