SCCI Group merges AV, signage and Wi-Fi units into new Airwave Connect brand

SCCI Group has folded three of its specialist businesses, Airwave Europe, SCS Technologies and SCCI Alphatrack's Media Division, into a single new brand called Airwave Connect. For operators who currently juggle separate suppliers for networking, AV and digital signage installs, this is a sign that at least one integrator is betting on bundling those services rather than keeping them siloed.
The move follows SCCI Group's acquisition of SCS Technologies in January 2026. Rather than running SCS and Alphatrack's media arm as standalone units alongside Airwave Europe, the group has merged their engineering teams, account relationships and geographic coverage under one name. Airwave Connect will operate out of existing offices in Billingshurst, Harlow and Warrington, and SCCI says it can call on a nationwide network of engineers for design, installation and ongoing support.
According to the announcement, the rationale is that AV, digital signage and Wi-Fi infrastructure in commercial environments are becoming more interconnected, and customers increasingly want one point of contact rather than three. That is a common pitch among integrators chasing managed-service contracts, where a single vendor handling network, screens and entertainment systems can simplify procurement and reduce finger-pointing when something breaks.
David Fogelman, SCCI Group CEO, said Airwave Connect reflects how technology requirements are evolving across the sectors the group serves, and that bringing the capabilities together positions the company to support customers with integrated and scalable solutions without changing existing relationships or service standards.
What's not clear
The announcement does not name specific customers, contract values, or which verticals the merged business will prioritise. It also does not say what happens to the Airwave Europe, SCS Technologies or Alphatrack names going forward, whether they disappear entirely or continue as sub-brands under Airwave Connect. There is no detail on headcount, revenue, or whether this consolidation will mean any changes to pricing or service levels for existing contracts.
Why it matters
For venues and retailers running digital signage alongside Wi-Fi and AV systems, the move points to a broader trend of integrators positioning themselves as single-source suppliers for connected in-store or in-venue technology. Whether that translates into better pricing or faster support for end customers, or is mainly a back-office rebrand following the SCS acquisition, is not something this announcement settles. Operators currently using any of the three legacy brands will want to confirm what, if anything, changes in their existing support arrangements.

SCCI Group brings Airwave Europe, SCS Technologies and SCCI Alphatrack’s Media Division under a new brand after January’s SCS acquisition, with nationwide design, installation and support.
SCCI Group today announces the launch of airwave connect, bringing together Airwave Europe, SCS Technologies and SCCI Alphatrack’s Media Division under one brand. Operating from offices in Billingshurst, Harlow and Warrington, the business combines expertise in TV and entertainment systems, Wi-Fi and networking, digital signage and AV technology.
The launch follows SCCI Group’s acquisition of SCS Technologies in January 2026 and brings the three specialist teams together to provide a coordinated service, from design and installation through to ongoing support.
Within commercial environments, the technologies supporting customer experience and day-to-day operations are becoming increasingly interconnected. This is creating greater demand for a coordinated approach to their design, installation and ongoing support.
By consolidating these capabilities under one brand, airwave connect is positioned to deliver a more cohesive, end-to-end service model, calling upon a nationwide network of engineers. The new brand combines engineering expertise, an expanded geographic footprint, and established relationships with global technology partners.
David Fogelman, SCCI Group CEO, said: “Airwave connect reflects how technology requirements are evolving across the sectors we serve. By bringing these complementary capabilities together, we are better positioned to support customers with integrated and scalable solutions, without changing the relationships and service standards they rely on.”
