Open Media Becomes Exclusive OOH Partner Across All BOXPARK Sites
2026-08-03 · via DailyDOOH
Open Media has become the exclusive out-of-home media partner across all six BOXPARK venues in the UK, after extending its existing partnership to include the Croydon site. The deal now covers Shoreditch, Croydon, Camden, BOXHALL, Wembley and Liverpool, giving one operator control of digital screens, large-format banners and experiential activations across the entire estate.
For anyone managing screens in retail or leisure venues, this is a consolidation story as much as a media story. Rather than each BOXPARK site selling its own ad inventory separately, Open Media now controls booking and delivery network-wide. According to the release, all digital and banner opportunities within BOXPARK Croydon are live and bookable now.
The expansion builds on work already done this year. Open Media says it has installed 12 internal D6 screens across BOXHALL, BOXPARK Camden and BOXPARK Shoreditch, along with external banners at Shoreditch and internal banner assets at Wembley. The Croydon addition brings the last major site into that same digital and static inventory pool.
What this means for advertisers and operators
Open Media is positioning the deal around scale and consistency: one media owner across venues instead of site-by-site negotiation. Mike Smith, CEO and founder of Open Media, said the company is "giving advertisers the ability to engage audiences at scale through premium, experience-led media environments."
The release cites a claimed 27 percent uplift in brand recall for cross-venue campaigns compared with single-site bookings, though it does not say who conducted that research or over what sample. That figure should be read as a marketing claim from Open Media rather than independent measurement.
BOXPARK is described in the release as attracting millions of visitors annually across its mixed-use retail, food and event spaces, which makes it a recognisable inventory block for brands wanting urban, youth-skewing footfall. What the announcement does not cover is any detail on screen specifications, player hardware, or the CMS being used to run the D6 network across sites, so operators looking for technical detail on the digital estate will need to look elsewhere.
For competing OOH media owners, the deal signals that BOXPARK has settled on single-supplier management rather than splitting inventory across multiple agencies per site. That reduces the number of doors a rival network could knock on to get into BOXPARK's screens, at least for now. Open Media says it expects a busy 2026 with activations tied to what it calls major cultural moments, though the release gives no specifics on upcoming campaigns or advertiser commitments.

Open Media Now The Exclusive BOXPARK #OOH Partner
Open Media has announced a third extension to their partnership with BOXPARK, as they take all sites in the Croydon venue into their out-of-home portfolio, making the company the exclusive OOH media provider across six BOXPARK locations throughout the UK.
Mike Smith – CEO & Founder, Open Media told us “We’re incredibly excited to be extending our partnership with BOXPARK and becoming the exclusive out-of-home media partner across its entire estate. BOXPARK has created some of the UK’s most influential cultural destinations, and we’re excited to build on that foundation together, delivering bold, innovative advertising experiences that set a new benchmark for out-of-home media. By bringing every venue into one connected network, we’re giving advertisers the ability to engage audiences at scale through premium, experience-led media environments that deliver genuine impact. We look forward to continuing to innovate alongside the BOXPARK team and unlocking even more exciting opportunities for our clients in the years ahead” .
This strategic collaboration sees Open Media appointed as the exclusive OOH media partner across the entire BOXPARK estate, now including Shoreditch, Croydon, Camden, BOXHALL, Wembley and Liverpool. Managing and delivering all media opportunities across these vibrant, high-footfall destinations, Open Media will oversee everything from digital screens to large-format internal and external banners, as well as experiential activations – bringing its award-winning approach to media delivery, content, and brand partnerships to every BOXPARK location.
BOXPARK, known for its innovative spaces and cultural relevance, attracts millions of visitors annually and hosts a dynamic mix of events, pop-ups, and activations. This new development on the already successful existing partnership provides brands with a unique opportunity to connect with highly engaged urban audiences in some of the UK’s most exciting and diverse locations.
Following the launch of 12 strategically positioned internal D6 screens across BOXHALL, BOXPARK Camden, and BOXPARK Shoreditch, alongside the integration of external banners at BOXPARK Shoreditch and internal banner assets at BOXPARK Wembley earlier this year, the network now delivers brands a unique portfolio of high-impact opportunities across some of London’s most vibrant cultural destinations.
This extended partnership presents brands with a cohesive, multi-venue opportunity to connect with audiences across BOXPARK’s vibrant destinations, using one media owner for increased ease and flexibility. By leveraging these cross-venue activations brands can amplify their campaigns to create a +27%* uplift in brand recall versus single-site campaigns, and Open are anticipating a huge year ahead with activations targeting more major cultural moments in 2026 and beyond.
All digital and banner opportunities within BOXPARK Croydon are live and available to book now.
