Onescreen Names Adam Skinner as New CEO
2026-09-04 · via DailyDOOH
Onescreen has appointed Adam Skinner as its new Chief Executive Officer, the company said. He succeeds Alex Ewing, who has led Onescreen since 2023.
Skinner joins from Epsilon, where he served as Managing Director, Retail Media. Before that, he was Chief Technology Officer and later Chief Operating Officer at CitrusAd, the retail media platform that Publicis Groupe's Epsilon acquired in 2021. According to the announcement, he brings more than fifteen years of experience building infrastructure for high-growth media networks.
The announcement does not detail Onescreen's current business, so readers unfamiliar with the company will not find specifics here on its screen count, markets served, or product roadmap.
Rob Biederman, Onescreen's Board Chair, framed the hire around a specific strategic bet. "We ran this search against a very specific market thesis," Biederman said. "The next phase of out-of-home won't be won by whoever sells the most inventory. It will be won by whoever makes the physical world legible enough that performance budgets move into it without a leap of faith." Biederman said Skinner has done that work "at scale" and knows how to build the connective infrastructure between retail suppliers, agency workflows, and brand investment.
That framing points to where Onescreen's board wants the company to compete. Rather than positioning itself purely as a seller of digital out-of-home or in-store screen inventory, the language suggests an emphasis on measurement, attribution, and making physical retail media buyable the way digital ad inventory already is. That is a familiar direction across the retail media sector, where platforms like CitrusAd, Skinner's former employer, built tools to let advertisers plan and measure retail media spend with the same rigor as e-commerce advertising.
For operators running digital signage or retail media networks, the appointment is worth watching less for what it changes today and more for what it signals about where budget owners expect the category to go. If Onescreen's leadership believes brand and agency spend will only flow into out-of-home and in-store screens once that inventory is as measurable and programmatically accessible as digital channels, that has implications for how CMS platforms, analytics vendors, and network operators pitch their own measurement and reporting capabilities.
The announcement does not say what immediate changes, if any, Skinner plans to make to Onescreen's product, sales structure, or network partnerships, nor does it specify a start date beyond confirming the appointment has taken effect.
