Nsign integrates signage, LED and sensors for Noken 'bathroom of the future'

Nsign Managed Solutions, the integration arm of CMS company nsign, has acted as AV technology integrator on a showroom installation that combines digital signage, curved and transparent LED displays, sensors and building automation into a single personalised experience. The project matters to operators because it shows how a signage CMS vendor is positioning itself beyond playlist management and into full environmental control, stitched together with a third-party automation platform.
The installation, called the FLO·W Experience, sits inside bathroom brand Noken's showroom in Villarreal, Spain. According to the announcement, the goal was to turn a product showroom into a space that responds to each visitor, blending design, wellbeing, sustainability and connected devices around a bathroom setting.
Nsign's content management system drives a network of media players feeding 10 display endpoints. These include a transparent display, concealed mirror screens, LED panels used as digital windows, a curved LED screen in the bath area, and a projector for atmospheric effects, the company says. Visitors trigger the experience with an NFC card, which the release says launches a personalised welcome and coordinates content, lighting and sound across the space.
Specific zones include three concealed 32-inch displays built into washbasin mirrors, showing calendars, weather and personal data such as sleep scores, heart rate and water consumption, according to nsign. Two large-format LED displays flanking the basin act as digital windows with sunrise sequences. The shower area uses a transparent self-adhesive Unilumin LED display applied to the glass, letting users change shower modes through touch and sensor interaction. A 43-inch LCD in the dressing area shows AI-generated outfit suggestions. The bath area features an Absen LED display measuring roughly 2.5m by 2m, installed with a slight curve, alongside a Loxone Touch Pure Flex Tree control built into the bath itself and a 5,000-lumen Optoma projector for ambient effects.
The automation side runs on the Loxone platform, which the release says handles access, lighting, water and other technical systems, integrated with the nsign CMS so content and physical environment respond together.
Sergio Soriano, AV sales director at nsign Managed Solutions, is quoted saying the achievement is that visitors never see the technological complexity behind the experience, despite specialist displays, media players, sensors, NFC, automation, HTML interfaces and building control running underneath.
For signage operators, the project is a reference point rather than a product launch: no pricing, rollout timeline, or details on player hardware or content authoring workflow are given. What it does signal is nsign's push to position its CMS as a hub for sensor- and automation-driven experiences, not just screen scheduling, in verticals like retail and hospitality showrooms.

The CMS firm’s managed solutions arm was the integrator for a project combining digital signage, curved and transparent LED displays, sensors and lighting in a personalised visitor experience.
Nsign has helped create an immersive, sensory and personalised experience demonstrating the ‘bathroom of the future’.
The aim of the FLO·W Experience, at bathroom brand Noken’s showroom in the Spanish town of Villarreal, was to combine design, wellbeing, sustainability, smart living, connected health and intelligent devices in a bathroom environment.
The challenge was to transform a product showroom into a space capable of responding to each visitor. Achieving this required creating a seamless experience incorporating displays, sound, dynamic lighting, sensors, smart mirrors, digital interfaces and AI.
Nsign Managed Solutions acted as the project’s AV technology integrator, while the Loxone platform handles the showroom’s automation and physical control, including access, lighting, water and other technical systems.
Technology woven into the narrative The result is an experience in which technology is not presented as a standalone feature, but woven into the narrative of the space.
Rather than simply looking at screens, visitors trigger scenes, receive personalised content and experience how the bathroom can become a connected, intuitive environment designed around wellbeing.
Each user swipes an NFC card to launch the system, which generates a personalised welcome and coordinates content, lighting and sound.
One of the project’s defining features is the integration between the nsign content management system (CMS) and the Loxone automation platform.
A network of nsign players drives 10 display endpoints, including a transparent display, concealed mirror screens, LED displays used as digital windows, a large curved LED screen in the bath area and a projector for atmospheric effects.
In the washbasin area, three concealed 32″ displays transform the mirrors into personal information interfaces that can display calendars and weather forecasts, as well as personal data such as sleep scores, heart rate and water consumption.
On either side, two large-format LED displays act as digital windows, creating a sense of openness on to an outdoor environment through AV content such as sunrise sequences.
The shower area features a transparent self-adhesive Unilumin LED display applied directly to the glass, allowing the user to select different operating modes. Interacting with the display and its sensors changes both the AV content and the physical behaviour of the shower.
In the dressing area, a 43″ LCD display presents AI-generated content with personalised outfit suggestions, extending the bathroom concept into the wider world of smart living.
The bath area features a large Absen LED display measuring about 2.5m by 2m and installed with a subtle curve to heighten the sense of immersion.
Coordinated content and lighting A Loxone Touch Pure Flex Tree control integrated into the bath itself enables users to choose between modes that activate coordinated content and lighting.
The installation is completed by subtle atmospheric projection from a 5,000-lumen Optoma HD projector.
Sergio Soriano, AV sales director at nsign Managed Solutions, says: “One of the FLO·W Experience’s main achievements is that visitors never see the technological complexity behind it.
‘Simple interaction’ “Behind the experience are specialist displays, media players, sensors, NFC, automation, programming, lighting, sound, HTML interfaces and building control.
“Yet the interaction remains simple for the user: a zone is activated, the space responds and the story moves forward.”
For nsign, the project illustrates the natural evolution of digital signage towards experiences that are more interactive, context-aware and connected to the physical environment.
