M-Cube Secures €28 Million in Refinancing from UniCredit and Banco BPM
2026-09-15 · via DailyDOOH
M-Cube has secured €28 million in financing from UniCredit and Banco BPM, money the digital signage company says will back organic growth and future acquisitions across the European market.
For operators and integrators who work with M-Cube's screens, CMS and content services, the deal signals the company plans to keep expanding rather than consolidate defensively. According to the announcement, the package lets M-Cube repay an existing bond loan in full, which the company says reduces its overall cost burden. It also includes a revolving credit facility intended to support working capital for organic growth in Italy and international markets, plus dedicated capex lines earmarked for future M&A.
Gianluca Pasquali, M-Cube's Group CEO, said the agreement confirms the strength of the company's trajectory and gives it a boost to drive its expansion plan, adding that the new resources will support both organic growth and targeted acquisitions. Silvia Bernardi, Corporate NordEst Manager at UniCredit, said the bank recognised M-Cube as a company with a clear strategic vision and strong potential for international development.
The announcement does not name specific acquisition targets, give a timeline for deployment of the funds, or specify what portion is earmarked for organic growth versus M&A. It also does not detail M-Cube's current revenue or customer base, so the practical scale of this expansion relative to the company's existing operations is not clear from the release.
HLD, described as M-Cube's reference shareholder, is said to have played an active role in structuring the deal. Legal assistance came from Pedersoli & Gattai as M-Cube's advisor and Deloitte Legal alongside the lending banks.
Refinancing deals like this are common in the digital signage sector as vendors try to fund international expansion and roll up smaller players. For customers and partners, the practical question is whether this translates into new products, expanded service coverage, or simply balance sheet tidying. The release does not address that directly.

M-Cube have secured €28 million from UniCredit and Banco BPM to strengthen their organic growth and support new M&A operations across the European market.
The joint participation of two big leading banking institutions no doubt reflects confidence in M-Cube’s development prospects and in the solidity of their industrial model. Commenting on this, Silvia Bernardi , Corporate NordEst Manager at UniCredit, said “The operation carried out with M-Cube fully reflects the role UniCredit intends to play alongside businesses: supporting credible industrial projects, backing sustainable growth paths and creating the financial conditions to seize new market opportunities. We recognised in M-Cube a company with a clear strategic vision and strong potential for international development, and we are therefore particularly pleased to have provided the Group with the financial support needed to accelerate its growth path.”
Access to new financial instruments is a key factor for companies looking to accelerate growth and consolidation, particularly in sectors marked by strong competition and evolving market dynamics.
The agreement allows M-Cube to optimise their financial structure, reducing the burden of costs through the full repayment of an existing bond loan. The package also includes a revolving credit facility (RCF) to support the working capital needed for organic growth, both in Italy and in the international markets where they operate. Specific Capex lines have also been set aside to support their future M&A operations.
Gianluca Pasquali , Group CEO, said “We are extremely satisfied with the agreement reached with UniCredit and Banco BPM, a €28 million operation that confirms the strength of our company’s trajectory and gives us a decisive boost to drive our expansion plan. With these new resources, we intend to further strengthen our position, accelerating both organic growth and new targeted acquisitions.”
HLD, their reference shareholder, played an active role in structuring the operation, supporting them through key phases and confirming its commitment to backing their development strategy, both organic and through acquisitions.
The operation was finalised with legal assistance from Pedersoli & Gattai, their advisor, and Deloitte Legal, alongside the lending institutions.
