Luxury Brokerage The Agency Deploys Smartify Digital Signage Network
2026-10-05 · via DailyDOOH
Luxury real estate brokerage The Agency has partnered with Smartify Media to install digital signage in select brokerage offices, turning storefronts into nodes on Smartify's national digital out-of-home network. For signage operators watching the real estate vertical, this is another sign that brokerage lobbies and storefronts are being treated as monetizable media space rather than just static listing boards.
According to the release, Smartify has already gone live in The Agency's offices in La Jolla, Malibu, Berkeley and Healdsburg, California, with additional locations described as coming soon. The companies did not specify a timeline or total number of planned installations.
The pitch is a familiar one in retail and commercial signage: replace static posters with screens that agents and teams can update in real time, showing current listings and corporate brand campaigns. The Agency says the goal is to match its marketing standards inside its physical offices to what it already does digitally.
What's new here
The more notable part of the deal is the advertising layer. Smartify's platform does not just serve The Agency's own content. It also opens up the screens as inventory for what the release calls "synergistic premium brand advertising," giving participating offices a potential new revenue stream from their physical space. This follows a pattern seen elsewhere in DOOH, where commercial real estate operators monetize lobby and storefront screens by selling ad space alongside owned content, rather than running them purely as internal communication tools.
Smartify is also positioning this as a network play beyond the brokerage walls. Through a program called Smartify REAL, content from a brokerage screen can be pushed out across Smartify's broader network of retail locations, shopping centers, EV charging displays, kiosks and neighborhood storefronts. For agents, that means a listing or campaign shown in a La Jolla office window could also appear on unrelated screens elsewhere in the network, assuming an operator buys into that reach.
The release names other brokerages already using the Smartify platform, including Compass, The Corcoran Group, First Team Real Estate, Seven Gables Real Estate, West + Main and The Keyes Company, suggesting Smartify has been building out a real estate vertical for some time rather than entering it fresh with this deal.
What's missing
The announcement does not disclose hardware specifications, screen counts, player technology, or financial terms of the partnership. It also does not say how many total Agency offices exist globally or what share will eventually carry Smartify screens, nor does it specify who sells the ad inventory or how revenue is split between Smartify and the brokerage. Those details would matter to any operator or vendor evaluating whether this model scales beyond a handful of California offices.

The Agency, a global, luxury real estate brokerage representing clients across residential, new development, resort, and vacation rental markets worldwide, has launched a new partnership with Smartify Media.
“At The Agency, we’ve built our reputation on representing extraordinary properties and delivering best-in-class marketing to our agents and clients,” said Rainy Hake Austin , President of The Agency. “Our partnership with Smartify allows us to bring that standard to life inside our offices, where digital environments showcase our listings and corporate campaigns with the sophistication our brand demands. This partnership reflects our continued investment in the tools and technology that set our agents apart, allowing them to better market their business and connect with clients.”
Through the partnership, select offices of The Agency will join Smartify’s national digital out-of-home advertising network, transforming brokerage storefronts into connected digital environments where listings, brand content, and synergistic premium brand advertising can be managed dynamically. Smartify has launched in The Agency offices in La Jolla, Malibu, Berkeley, and Healdsburg, CA with more locations coming soon.
Digital screens deployed at participating The Agency locations will enable agents and teams to update listings and brand content in real time, replacing traditional static signage with dynamic, always-current messaging. The same infrastructure can also create new advertising inventory within premium brokerage environments, providing participating offices with an opportunity to generate synergistic premium media revenue from their physical locations.
For agents, Smartify also extends visibility beyond the brokerage office across the entire Smartify network through Smartify REAL™ — Real Estate. Real World.™, a program that brings real estate marketing into the physical environments where consumers spend their everyday lives. Content marketed on a brokerage screen can also be distributed across Smartify’s broader network, including retail and lifestyle destinations, shopping centers, EV charging displays, kiosks, neighborhood storefronts, and other high-traffic environments — giving agents the ability to extend their presence and reach defined audiences in the real world.
Inna Finkelstein , SVP of Partnerships at Smartify told us “The Agency has built one of the most distinctive and globally recognized brands in luxury real estate, with a sophisticated digital presence and a footprint in many of America’s most important markets. Our partnership creates an opportunity to extend that brand beyond the digital experience and the brokerage office, connecting The Agency with consumers across a broader network of premium physical touch points where they live, shop, and move throughout their day.”
Smartify’s digital media platform serves both commercial and residential real estate, creating new opportunities for property owners and operators to enhance their environments, engage audiences, and unlock the media value of their real estate assets. Brokerages leveraging Smartify’s platform include First Team Real Estate, Seven Gables Real Estate, West + Main, The Keyes Company, Compass, and The Corcoran Group.
