Limited Space Adds Retail And Leisure Parks to UK DOOH Network
2026-09-08 · via DailyDOOH
Limited Space is expanding its UK out-of-home network into retail and leisure parks, adding a new category to a portfolio that already covers more than 65 retail and lifestyle destinations. The move follows what the company describes as an exclusive digital media appointment across Legal & General's property portfolio.
For operators and media buyers tracking where digital screens are showing up next, retail parks represent a category that has been less saturated with digital media than shopping centres or high streets. Limited Space says the initial rollout covers locations in both England and Scotland, and that the combined retail and leisure park network will reach more than 21 million consumers annually. The company says its wider destination network already generates more than four billion impacts a year, though it does not break out how many of those come from the new sites versus the existing estate.
Limited Space positions itself as the only UK media owner focused exclusively on destination retail environments, which is a narrower claim than being the largest OOH operator overall, but it does explain why a category expansion like this matters to the company's positioning against rivals that operate across broader outdoor formats.
What the announcement leaves out
The release does not say how many individual retail park sites are involved in this first phase, what screen formats or hardware are being deployed, or who is supplying the players, content management software or mounting hardware for the rollout. There is no detail on ad-sales structure, pricing, or whether the screens will be sold programmatically or through direct bookings. For an industry reader trying to gauge the scale of new digital inventory hitting the market, those gaps make it hard to size the opportunity beyond the headline reach figure.
Matt Gordon, co-founder and director at Limited Space, said the expansion is a natural extension of the company's existing retail and lifestyle network, arguing that retail and leisure parks share similar shopper behaviour and complement the destinations Limited Space already operates in. He said the goal is to give existing clients extended reach while bringing new advertisers into out-of-home.
The company describes this as the first phase of a wider rollout done in partnership with Legal & General, with the network expected to keep growing through 2026. No further phase details, site counts, or timeline milestones beyond that general statement are given.

Limited Space Expands Into Retail And Leisure Parks
Limited Space has announced the expansion of its portfolio with a new retail and leisure park network, following its exclusive digital media appointment across Legal & General’s extensive UK property portfolio.
The initial rollout introduces new digital media opportunities at prominent retail park locations spanning both England and Scotland, delivering comprehensive geographical coverage and reaching over 21m consumers annually.
The expansion is a progressive evolution of Limited Space’s established destination media proposition. Already operating a market-leading network across more than 65 retail and lifestyle destinations, their portfolio generates over four billion impacts each year. As the only UK media owner exclusively dedicated to destination retail environment, Limited Space continues to strengthen its position as the specialist partner for brands looking to influence consumers in moments that matter most.
Matt Gordon , Co-Founder & Director at Limited Space, told us “This expansion is a perfect fit for our business and a natural extension of what we already do so well. Retail and leisure parks complement our existing network brilliantly and allow us to offer extended reach to existing clients as well as bringing new brands into the OOH space. We understand these audiences, how they move between destinations and the role each environment plays within the wider shopper journey. Bringing these locations into our portfolio creates exciting new opportunities for brands to reach consumers in highly relevant, high-intent moments, delivering greater flexibility, scale and impact across their media campaigns.”
The installations represent the first phase of a wider rollout in partnership with Legal & General, with the network set to continue expanding throughout 2026.
