LED Truck Media Expands Glasses-Free 3D Truck Fleet to NY, LA, Las Vegas
2026-08-07 · via DailyDOOH
LED Truck Media is expanding its anamorphic 3D LED truck fleet into New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, according to the company. The move takes a format previously limited to fixed installations in places like Times Square, Tokyo and Seoul and puts it on wheels in three of the largest US media markets.
Anamorphic 3D uses forced-perspective rendering to make objects appear to break out of the screen. The technique has driven some heavily shared out-of-home campaigns, but supply has been scarce because it required a fixed screen in one of a handful of locations, and that inventory books up months in advance. LED Truck Media's pitch is that a truck-mounted version removes that constraint.
For media planners, the practical difference is placement flexibility. A fixed 3D screen sits where it sits. A 3D truck can park outside a stadium for a game, at a conference entrance, near a retail flagship, or along a parade route, then move to a different location the same day. The announcement frames this as letting brands run the format without waiting for availability in the one neighborhood where a fixed 3D screen happens to exist.
The company says no glasses or app are needed for viewers and that the effect is built to read on camera, which supports campaigns aimed at generating social video in addition to street-level impressions. Jonnathan Trillerras, CEO of LED Truck Media, said anamorphic 3D "stops people mid-stride in a way flat creative simply does not," and described the shift as bringing the screen to the audience rather than the other way around.
The expansion follows a period of growth for the company, which the release says was named to the 2026 Inc. Regionals Southeast list of fastest-growing private companies in the southeastern United States. The 3D fleet runs alongside LED Truck Media's existing mobile billboard business, which the company says covers more than 27 US markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami and Dallas. The company also offers hyperlocal targeting, experiential activations, and custom LED truck manufacturing for operators building their own fleets.
Campaigns are supported by GPS tracking and engagement reporting, which the company says lets advertisers verify routes, dwell time and impression delivery. That kind of measurement matters for buyers used to the accountability of digital placements, though the announcement does not detail how impressions are calculated or independently verified.
LED Truck Media has positioned the 3D fleet for high-density event advertising through the rest of 2026, citing the Formula 1 season and the November midterm elections as examples where mobile inventory lets advertisers shift placement by district or news cycle instead of committing to fixed locations weeks ahead. The announcement does not say how many 3D-equipped trucks are in the fleet or what the format costs relative to a standard mobile billboard booking.

LED Truck Media , the mobile out-of-home company behind the first 3D LED truck, is expanding its anamorphic fleet into New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, bringing glasses-free three-dimensional advertising to the streets of the largest media markets in the United States.
Anamorphic 3D content of course, uses forced-perspective rendering to make objects appear to break free of the screen. The technique has produced some of the most widely shared outdoor campaigns of recent years, but until now it has been confined to fixed installations in a handful of locations such as Times Square, Tokyo and Seoul. LED Truck Media’s fleet makes the format mobile.
That distinction matters for media planners. Fixed 3D inventory is scarce, expensive and booked months ahead. A 3D truck can be positioned directly outside a stadium on game day, at a conference entrance, in front of a retail flagship, or along a parade route, then relocated the same afternoon. Brands are no longer waiting for a screen to become available in the one neighborhood where the format exists.
No glasses or app are required for viewers, and the effect is designed to read on camera, which makes the format a natural fit for campaigns built to generate social video alongside street-level impressions.
Jonnathan Trillerras , CEO of LED Truck Media told us “Anamorphic 3D stops people mid-stride in a way flat creative simply does not,” said“The limitation was always that you had to bring your audience to the screen. We inverted that. Now the screen goes to the audience, and it goes wherever the campaign needs it.”
The expansion builds on a period of rapid growth for the company, which was named to the 2026 Inc. Regionals Southeast list of the fastest-growing private companies in the southeastern United States.
The 3D fleet operates alongside the company’s existing LED truck advertising inventory, which covers more than 27 US markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami and Dallas. The company has positioned the 3D fleet for high-density event advertising through the remainder of 2026, including the Formula 1 season and the November midterm election cycle, where mobile inventory allows advertisers to shift placement by district and news cycle rather than committing to fixed locations weeks in advance.
