Avocor has struck a partnership with Korbyt to run the latter's content management software directly on its B-Series commercial displays, the companies announced. The Korbyt application runs on the display's built-in Android 14 processor, which has 8GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, according to the announcement.

For operators, the practical effect is that no external media player is needed to run Korbyt on these screens. The CMS ships pre-integrated with the hardware, which Avocor and Korbyt both frame as a response to enterprise customers wanting a single validated system rather than a display, a player and a CMS sourced separately and integrated in the field.

The deal also means existing Korbyt customers can add B-Series displays to an estate they already manage without switching content platforms, which matters for any organisation with a mixed fleet of signage hardware and a preference for not re-training staff on new software every time they buy new screens.

Where this fits

The B-Series launched at ISE 2026 as Avocor's entry into the business and commercial digital signage display market, a segment where the company previously focused more on collaboration and interactive displays. This is the second CMS partnership Avocor has announced for the B-Series in a matter of months: in July the company agreed a similar arrangement with NowSignage, also with no external media player required.

Running two competing CMS integrations on the same display line suggests Avocor is positioning the B-Series as an open hardware platform rather than tying customers to a single software partner. That approach mirrors what other display manufacturers have done as media-player-free, system-on-chip signage becomes standard rather than a premium feature.

According to Avocor, the companies expect early demand from corporate campuses as well as manufacturing and supply chain settings, where the release says joint customers are already asking for real-time data displayed on the shop floor. Korbyt's vice-president of channel sales and revenue operations, Andrew Gildin, said the company is "actively growing our network of hardware partners" and described the certification as giving customers "a proven, ready-to-deploy platform on day one."

Avocor's global general manager, Dana Corey, pointed to AI-powered features in Korbyt, including automated scheduling and reporting on metrics such as views and dwell time, as part of the appeal for customers trying to measure engagement on the displays.

The announcement does not specify pricing, availability dates, or which specific Korbyt features are enabled at launch versus added later. It also does not say whether the integration extends to other display sizes in the B-Series range beyond what was shown at ISE.

The strategic partnership between the two companies targets the increasing demand for digital signage that works as a single, validated solution, rather than a set of disparate parts.

Avocor and Korbyt have entered into a partnership that involves Korbyt’s software integrated into the Avocor B-Series.

The B-Series, which launched at ISE 2026 , marks Avocor’s move into the business and commercial digital signage display market.

The Korbyt application runs on the display’s own Android 14 processor, backed by 8GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

The collaboration means that customers already running Korbyt can add B-Series displays to an existing estate without changing platforms.

In addition to corporate campuses, the companies expect early traction in business-critical settings such as manufacturing and supply chains, where existing joint customers are already asking for real-time data delivered on the floor.

Dana Corey, global general manager at Avocor, said: “Since launching the B-Series at ISE, we’ve been committed to building relationships that enhance user experience, and working with Korbyt means our customers can expect a CMS platform that works as one with our displays.

‘Optimising engagement’ “We’re also very excited about the AI-powered features Korbyt brings to the table. Automating time-consuming activities such as scheduling and feeding back smart data on key metrics like number of views and dwell time helps our customers optimise engagement on our displays. That’s the ultimate goal of the B-Series.”

Korbyt’s vice-president of channel sales and revenue operations, Andrew Gildin, added: “Enterprise customers increasingly want AV and digital signage that works as a single, validated solution, rather than a set of disparate parts they have to integrate themselves.

“That’s why we’re actively growing our network of hardware partners – and Avocor is exactly the kind of partner we want to build around.

“Certifying Korbyt on the B-Series means joint customers get a proven, ready-to-deploy platform on day one, and it gives us a stronger foundation to serve enterprise deployments at scale.”

The agreement is the latest in a partnership drive from Avocor, which in July saw the company agree a deal for NowSignage to be loaded on to B Series displays with no external media player .
