Korbyt Adds AI Booking Tools to Anywhere Platform, Targets Law Firms
2026-08-25 · via Digital Signage Today

Korbyt plans to demonstrate three new additions to its Korbyt Anywhere platform at ILTACON 2026 this month, aiming the tools specifically at law firms managing conference rooms and reception space. The company will show the updates at booth 665, according to a press release.
The three additions are an updated Korbyt Booking Calendar built for reception and conference service teams, a tool called ConciergeAI, and a Korbyt Booking Add-In for Microsoft 365. The release does not detail what ConciergeAI actually does beyond the name, nor does it specify pricing, availability dates, or which Korbyt Anywhere tiers will include the features.
For operators running digital signage and room-booking displays outside law, the announcement is still worth watching. Korbyt has built its business around pairing signage with space management, and conference room booking panels are one of the more common non-retail signage deployments in corporate environments. Adding AI-branded scheduling logic and a native Microsoft 365 add-in suggests Korbyt is trying to compete more directly with dedicated workplace platforms like Robin, Envoy and Condeco, which have offered Outlook and Teams integrations for room and desk booking for years. The Microsoft 365 add-in in particular signals Korbyt wants booking to happen inside the tools employees already use, rather than forcing them into a separate app or a signage-adjacent kiosk.
"Law firms run on billable time and client trust, both of which are quietly eroded by the everyday friction of booking space," said Natalie Appleton, VP workplace at Korbyt, in the release. "We're giving firms a single, intelligent way to see every space, book it in seconds and enforce their own rules automatically to ensure attorneys stay focused on client work and administrators spend less time playing 'conference room Tetris.'"
The law firm framing matters because it points to a vertical push rather than a general platform update. Law firms have specific conference room policies, such as client confidentiality rules and billing-linked space allocation, that a generic booking calendar may not enforce. Korbyt appears to be positioning the update as a way to automate those firm-specific rules rather than just showing room availability on a screen outside the door.
What the release does not say is just as notable. There is no mention of hardware requirements, no word on whether existing Korbyt Anywhere customers get these features automatically or need a new contract, and no detail on how ConciergeAI differs from the AI capabilities Korbyt has previously marketed under the Anywhere platform. Operators evaluating this for their own room-booking signage will need to see a live demo or wait for a fuller product sheet before knowing what changes on the screen itself.
