IUF Partners with Pattison ID to Bring Stadium Signage Work to North America

UK-based system integrator IUF has signed a partnership with Pattison ID, a physical branded environments company, giving it access to Pattison's six regional manufacturing facilities and local delivery teams across the US and Canada. For venue operators, it means another European player is setting up to compete for large stadium and arena digital signage contracts in North America, this time by pairing with an established local implementation business rather than opening its own operations from scratch.
According to the companies, the deal lets IUF offer "complex, large-scale deployment" to stadiums, arenas and conference centres in the region, backed by Pattison's six manufacturing sites and a worldwide staff of almost 1,000. The scope spans concourse signage, exterior LED including halo screens and ribbon displays, scoreboards, IPTV distribution, menu boards and what the companies call digital fan experiences.
The pitch is a single-vendor model: rather than a venue coordinating separate suppliers for strategy, hardware, software and installation, IUF and Pattison ID say they can handle design through delivery and ongoing performance together. That is the same end-to-end argument most large integrators now make, and it is worth noting the announcement does not specify how the companies will divide labor on a given project, what financial terms underpin the partnership, or which brand name will appear on client contracts.
IUF's case for credibility rests on its European venue work, including recent installations at the O2 Arena Belfast, First Direct Arena in Leeds and the AO Arena Manchester, plus past work with the NBA, the England Cricket Board and Manchester City FC. None of those are North American venues, so this partnership is effectively IUF's entry point into a market where Pattison already has manufacturing capacity and relationships.
For Pattison ID, the announcement frames IUF as bringing "digital, creative, technology and software capabilities" to complement its own physical build-out expertise. The release does not name any specific North American venues or signed projects resulting from the partnership, so it reads as a capability and go-to-market announcement rather than confirmation of work already underway.
For integrators and vendors already active in North American sports venues, this signals another competitor targeting the stadium and arena segment, an area where demand for large-format LED, concourse signage and IPTV systems has been a reliable growth pocket. Venue operators evaluating vendors for upcoming builds or renovations will want to ask IUF and Pattison ID for specifics on project ownership, warranty and service responsibilities, and timelines before treating this as more than a strategic alliance announcement.

An agreement gives the UK-based system integrator access to Pattison ID’s six regional manufacturing facilities and local expertise for stadium, arena and conference-centre projects.
UK-based IUF has announced a partnership with physical branded environments expert Pattison ID that will see the two companies work together to form a strategic partnership to offer enhanced digital and connected experiences across North America.
The expanded agreement means IUF is now able to offer complex, large-scale deployment to stadiums, arenas and conference centres across Canada and the United States via Pattison’s six manufacturing facilities in the region and its team of almost 1,000 staff worldwide.
“North America represents an exciting opportunity for IUF. Over the past several years we’ve built up incredible expertise delivering large complex LED, digital signage and IPTV solutions for stadiums and arenas across Europe, and I’m excited to bring our skills and vision to North America, said Josh Bunce, CEO of IUF.
“Joining up with Pattison ID allows us to combine our innovative, flexible and scalable approach with one of the continent’s largest and most respected implementation businesses. Together, we’re able to offer stadiums, arenas and venues a seamless journey from strategy and design through to delivery and long-term performance, all through a single partner.”
“At Pattison, we have decades of experience in helping organisations transform their physical environments to serve their customers better,” said Marco Calabretta-Duval, president of Pattison ID. “IUF brings a complementary set of digital, creative, technology and software capabilities as well as their vast ambition and extensive experience in elevating sports venues with large-scale digital displays and integrated systems. Together we can deliver for clients across North America, particularly within the stadium and arena space.”
The partnership means ambitious digital installations from concourse signage and exterior LED displays such as huge halo screens, dynamic ribbon displays and scoreboards through to IPTV distribution, menu boards and digital fan experiences can now be delivered end-to-end by working with a single, trusted supplier, rather than coordinating multiple vendors across strategy, technology and on-the-ground delivery.
With a proven track record of deploying a variety of digital solutions within stadium settings, IUF has recently finished installations in the O2 Arena Belfast, First Direct Arena in Leeds and the AO Arena Manchester and has worked with sports brands including the NBA, England Cricket Board and Manchester City FC. As organisations increasingly look to improve customer and fan experience while generating greater operational efficiency and revenue opportunities from their physical environments, the partnership enables clients to benefit from global innovation alongside trusted local delivery.
