IUF Partners With Pattison ID for North American Stadium Signage

AV and digital integration provider IUF has entered a partnership with Pattison ID, a physical branded environments company, to deliver large-scale digital signage projects to stadiums, arenas and conference centers in the US and Canada.
For operators planning venue upgrades, the deal matters because it consolidates what is usually a multi-vendor process. Under the agreement, IUF handles strategy, design and technology while Pattison ID provides manufacturing and installation through six facilities in the region and a workforce the companies describe as almost 1,000 people worldwide, according to the release.
The scope covers concourse signage, exterior LED including halo screens, ribbon displays and scoreboards, IPTV distribution, digital menu boards and fan experience technology. The companies say venues will be able to work with a single supplier from initial strategy through delivery and ongoing performance, rather than coordinating separate firms for design, hardware procurement and installation.
IUF CEO Josh Bunce said in the release that North America represents a major opportunity for the company, pointing to its track record delivering LED, digital signage and IPTV projects for stadiums and arenas in Europe. He said the Pattison ID partnership lets IUF pair what he called a flexible, scalable approach with an established implementation business in the region.
What is not specified
The announcement does not name any specific venues, arenas or conference centers that will be fitted out under the deal, nor does it give a timeline for when installations might begin. It also does not disclose financial terms of the partnership or say whether it is exclusive. Pricing, product specifications for the LED and IPTV systems involved, and the number of projects expected in year one are also not addressed in the release.
For venue operators and procurement teams evaluating large-format digital fit-outs, the partnership is worth watching as a potential alternative to assembling separate vendors for design, hardware and installation. Whether it delivers faster timelines or lower costs than that traditional approach is not something the companies have quantified publicly. The real test will be the first North American venues that come online under the agreement and whether IUF's European stadium experience translates directly to the different technical and operational standards used by US and Canadian arenas and conference centers.

Audio-visual and digital integration provider IUF is partnering with physical branded environments provider Pattison ID to offer enhanced digital and connected experience across North America.
The expanded agreement means IUF is now able to offer complex, large-scale deployment to stadiums, arenas and conference centers across Canada and the U.S. via Pattison's six manufacturing facilities in the region and its team of almost 1,000 worldwide.
"North America represents an exciting opportunity for IUF. Over the past several years we've built up incredible expertise delivering large complex LED, digital signage and IPTV solutions for stadiums and arenas across Europe, and I'm excited to bring our skills and vision to North America," Josh Bunce, IUF CEO, said in the release. "Joining up with Pattison ID allows us to combine our innovative, flexible and scalable approach with one of the continent's largest and most respected implementation businesses. Together, we're able to offer stadiums, arenas and venues a seamless journey from strategy and design through to delivery and long-term performance, all through a single partner."
The partnership means digital installations from concourse signage and exterior LED displays such as huge halo screens, dynamic ribbon displays and scoreboards through to IPTV distribution, menu boards and digital fan experiences can now be delivered end-to-end by working with a single supplier, rather than coordinating multiple vendors across strategy, technology and on-the-ground delivery.
