Idomoo's Lucas AI Video Agent Integrates With Samsung VXT CMS
2026-08-14 · via DailyDOOH
Idomoo has integrated its Lucas AI Video Agent into Samsung's VXT content management system, letting operators generate finished videos from a text prompt without leaving the CMS. The announcement matters for anyone managing screen networks who has struggled to keep content fresh without paying for repeated video production.
According to the companies, Lucas handles the entire video creation process: script, animation and voiceover. Users type a prompt and get an on-brand video back, which Idomoo says requires no technical skills. The tool can also take existing photos or footage supplied by the customer and turn static images into what Idomoo calls cinematic footage. Finished videos save directly into VXT Canvas, Samsung's content workspace.
Idomoo positions this as a step beyond other AI video tools on the market. Yaron Kalish, the company's CEO, said in the announcement that unlike tools that only generate raw footage requiring further editing, Lucas is meant to deliver a finished, ready-to-use asset. That is a meaningful distinction for signage operators, since raw AI-generated clips typically still need someone with editing skills and software to turn them into something broadcast-ready for a screen network. If Lucas genuinely skips that step, it removes a real bottleneck for retailers, restaurants and other multi-site operators who want to update content often but do not have in-house video teams.
Jonathan del Rosario, Samsung's Head of Product for its Display Solutions Division, framed the deal as part of VXT's broader push to add operational tools on top of its CMS rather than leaving customers to source content creation separately. Samsung has been building out VXT as a platform play, and bundling AI video generation into it follows a pattern across the CMS market where vendors are racing to add generative AI features rather than treat them as bolt-ons.
Idomoo describes Lucas as built for enterprise use, listing hyper-personalization, localization, avatars, template-free generative design, editing and analytics among its features, along with what it calls ISO-level security. The announcement does not specify which ISO standard, nor does it give pricing, licensing terms, or say whether Lucas is included in existing VXT subscriptions or sold as an add-on. It also does not detail how long a typical generated video takes to produce, what output resolutions or formats are supported, or whether there are limits on video length or number of generations per account.
For operators already on VXT, the practical questions will be cost and control: how much creative oversight is possible before a video publishes to a live network, and how the tool handles brand guidelines across multiple locations. Those details are not addressed in this announcement.

Idomoo , described as the world’s leading enterprise video platform has today annnounced that its Lucas AI Video Agent is now available on Samsung VXT , giving businesses the ability to generate fully produced, ready-to-use videos right inside their digital signage platform.
Yaron Kalish , Idomoo CEO told us “Digital displays are only as effective as the content they show, and creating high-quality video has historically been expensive and time-consuming. This integration solves that bottleneck. You don’t need big budgets or months of production time to create incredible content. You just need an idea, and Lucas does the rest.”
We are told that the integration brings that end-to-end video creation directly to Samsung’s Visual eXperience Transformation (VXT) Content Management System (CMS), allowing users to turn a simple text prompt into an on-brand video in minutes, no technical skills required.
Lucas reduces the cost and complexity of traditional video creation, so businesses can seamlessly keep their digital content fresh and engaging, capturing attention and boosting sales. Unlike other AI tools that generate raw footage that requires further editing, Lucas handles the entire process, including the script, animation and voiceover. Users can upload their own media if desired, even turning static images into cinematic footage, and save their videos directly to VXT Canvas.
“Samsung VXT is built to evolve alongside dynamic business needs, from enhancing operational efficiencies to driving impactful campaigns,” said Jonathan del Rosario , Head of Product, Display Solutions Division, at Samsung Electronics America. “The integration of Idomoo’s Lucas AI Video Agent into our VXT platform builds on this mission, empowering customers to effortlessly produce high-quality video content. Together, this collaboration marks a pivotal step in shaping the future of digital signage content creation.”
Lucas is designed with enterprises in mind. The full suite of capabilities includes hyper-personalization, localization, avatars, template-free gen AI design, editing and analytics, all backed by ISO-level security alongside an intuitive, user-friendly interface.
