G&D and Vuwall Launch Vsneo KVM-over-IP Platform for Control Rooms

Guntermann & Drunck (G&D) and Vuwall, both part of Panoptec Technologies, have launched Vsneo, a KVM-over-IP platform aimed at control rooms and broadcast facilities that run video wall installations. The companies unveiled the system at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam. For integrators who deploy video walls for operations centers, esports studios or outside broadcast vans, the pitch is fewer hardware models to spec, stock and support.

The core of the announcement is the Vsneo-link, described as a universal transceiver that can act as a transmitter, receiver, video wall node or multi-PIP KVM mosaic station depending on how it's deployed. According to the release, using one device across multiple roles cuts down on the number of distinct hardware SKUs an integrator has to manage across a project. Each unit is 105 mm wide, so three fit into a single rack unit, which matters for space-constrained control room racks and OB vans.

Rather than riding on a customer's existing corporate network, Vsneo builds its own isolated KVM network. The Vsneo-center controller has built-in DHCP so connected devices can form that dedicated network with minimal IT involvement, and G&D and Vuwall say AES-256 encryption protects traffic on it. That's a notable design choice for control room operators who are often wary of running mission-critical KVM signaling over shared IT infrastructure, and it puts Vsneo in the same conversation as other purpose-built, network-isolated KVM-over-IP systems already used in broadcast and security operations centers.

The platform is rated for up to 96 endpoints, which places it at the mid-to-large end of control room deployments rather than the largest enterprise-scale installs. The announcement does not say what happens beyond that ceiling or whether multiple Vsneo networks can be linked together.

On the user side, operators get a dark-mode on-screen display with live source thumbnails, and control is handled through G&D and Vuwall keyboards and touch panels. G&D and Vuwall also say they're offering an online configurator that lets customers or integrators pick the endpoints and components they need and automatically generates a bill of materials and a system topology diagram, a step aimed at speeding up the quoting and design process for integrators.

"With Vsneo, our goal was to remove as much complexity as possible from KVM deployment," said Andreas Gerlach, executive vice-president of innovation at G&D and Vuwall.

Pricing is not disclosed in the announcement. Preorders open in early 2027, with initial deliveries expected by the end of the first quarter of that year, so operators evaluating the platform have a several-month wait before hardware ships.
