Bstore Australia Upgrades Fusion Signage to Enable Per-Screen Content Tagging

Australian footwear retailer Bstore has upgraded its digital signage software to let individual screens play different content instead of a single network-wide feed. The retailer worked with integrator Amped Digital to move from the basic tier of Fusion Signage to the Pro version, which adds content tagging at the screen level.
Bstore has run its in-store displays on Fusion Signage since 2022. As the chain added screens and opened new locations, the company upgraded its license to handle the larger estate. It now operates 21 Pro licenses across 11 stores in Western Australia, Victoria and New South Wales, according to the announcement.
The tagging feature assigns content and playlists to specific screens or groups of screens. Before the upgrade, every display in the network showed identical content regardless of location or placement within a store. Now store windows can run current campaigns and promotions while screens inside the store focus on brand content, new arrivals and product categories, often in video form.
"Content tagging has been one of the most valuable features for Bstore," said Robynn Kelly, marketing specialist for Bstore Australia, in the release. "It has enabled us to make each screen or group of screens more unique, rather than relying on one message across the entire network."
What this means for operators
Per-screen or per-zone content targeting is not a new idea in digital signage, but it remains a common pain point for retailers that start with a basic CMS package and later need more granular control as their footprint grows. Bstore's path, starting on an entry-level license and stepping up to a more capable tier as needs changed, is a familiar trajectory for multi-location retail deployments. The case is a reminder that tagging and grouping functionality is often gated behind higher subscription tiers rather than available by default, which is worth checking when evaluating CMS vendors.
Fusion Signage has also added an expiry date feature for media files. Once a set date passes, the software automatically removes the file from accounts and playlists. For retailers running seasonal or promotional content, this reduces the manual cleanup work of pulling expired campaigns and lowers the risk of stale content playing in stores or windows.
The announcement does not disclose the hardware used in the stores, pricing for the Pro tier, or a timeline for when the upgrade was completed. It also does not say whether Bstore plans further expansion of its screen network beyond the current 11 stores. Amped Digital, which handled installation of both hardware and software, is described as a regular partner for Fusion Signage projects in the Australian market.

Fusion Signage and Amped Digital bring screen tagging to Bstore Australia’s stores. The footwear retailer now plays out content individually or in groups.
Australian footwear retailer Bstore has been running its in-store displays on Fusion Signage software since 2022. A recent upgrade now gives each screen its own tags, which assign content and playlists.
Australian integrator Amped Digital handled the project and installed hardware and software in the stores. Fusion Signage sells its CMS through the end-to-end provider in several projects Down Under.
Bstore’s stores were already using the basic package of Fusion Signage’s software. Over time, however, more displays were added and new locations opened. Bstore then moved up to the Pro version.
Bstore now runs 21 Pro licenses of the Fusion Signage software across 11 stores in Western Australia, Victoria and New South Wales. With the upgrade, displays can be grouped or played out individually. Previously, every screen showed the same content.

Store windows typically show the current campaign or promotion. Inside the stores, content focuses on brands, new arrivals and product categories, often as video.
Fusion Signage has also introduced an expiry date for media. Once that date arrives, the software deletes the file from accounts and playlists.
