BackLite UK Adds Chiswick Towers to Landmark DOOH Portfolio
2026-08-20 · via Digital Signage Today

BackLite UK has added Chiswick Towers, two large-format outdoor advertising structures on the M4 near Heathrow, to its Landmark Series portfolio. For operators tracking the UK out-of-home market, it is another example of digital-first infrastructure being layered onto major transport routes rather than city centers alone.
The two towers stand 23 meters tall and flank the Chiswick flyover, visible to east and west-bound traffic. Each is fitted with double-sided LED screens at 768 by 1008 pixels. According to the press release, the combined structures reach 9 million road users a month and deliver 1.8 million fortnightly impacts. The release does not specify the pixel pitch, screen dimensions, or brightness specifications, so direct comparison with competing roadside LED sites is difficult.
BackLite UK, a subsidiary of Multiply Media Group, will handle media sales for the site. The physical structures themselves are owned by Wildstone, an out-of-home infrastructure owner, which is a common split in the UK market where media owners lease or partner on asset ownership rather than build and sell inventory under one roof. That separation matters for anyone evaluating deal terms or long-term site security, since sales rights and asset ownership sitting with different companies can affect how long inventory stays on a given network.
Eurotunnel LeShuttle and Oura are named as the first advertisers on the site, giving an early signal of the kind of travel and consumer tech brands the location is expected to attract given its position on a Heathrow approach road.
David Peters, head of specialist and agency at BackLite UK, said in the release that Chiswick Towers deliver strong visibility among commuters, business travelers and international visitors moving between Heathrow and central London, and called the addition a milestone in the company's continued build-out of the Landmark Series across prime London locations.
The announcement does not give a launch date, contract length for the Wildstone partnership, or further detail on upcoming Landmark Series sites.
