Avocor Partners With Korbyt to Certify CMS on New B-Series Displays

2026-09-17 · via DailyDOOH

Avocor, the display manufacturer owned by AUO, has struck a partnership with content management software provider Korbyt, certifying Korbyt's platform to run on Avocor's B-Series displays. The B-Series launched earlier this year at ISE 2026 and marks Avocor's entry into the business and commercial digital signage display market, a segment it has not previously targeted with dedicated hardware.

For operators, the announcement means one less integration headache. Korbyt is now validated to run directly on the B-Series out of the box, and the companies say customers already running Korbyt can add B-Series screens to an existing estate without switching platforms. The Korbyt application is available to install on the B-Series now, according to the companies.

The deal targets enterprise, manufacturing, retail and hospitality accounts, sectors where Avocor says it has been building out partnerships since the B-Series debut. Both companies point to manufacturing and supply chain settings specifically, saying joint customers in those environments are asking for real-time data displayed on the shop floor. That is a more operational use case than typical retail or corporate lobby signage, and it suggests Avocor and Korbyt see plant-floor dashboards and logistics data as a growth area distinct from advertising-driven digital signage.

Dana Corey, Avocor's global general manager, said the company wants a CMS that works as one with its displays rather than a bolt-on, and highlighted Korbyt's AI-powered features for automating scheduling and reporting metrics like views and dwell time. Andrew Gildin, Korbyt's VP of channel sales and revenue operations, framed the deal as part of a broader push to certify more hardware partners, arguing enterprise buyers increasingly want a single validated AV and signage solution instead of assembling one themselves.

What is missing

The announcement does not name specific pricing, licensing terms, or a rollout timeline beyond "available to install directly onto the Avocor B-Series today." It also does not specify which B-Series models or sizes are covered, what hardware specs the B-Series carries, or whether the certification is exclusive to Korbyt versus other CMS vendors Avocor may also support. There is no detail on what the "AI-powered features" actually do beyond scheduling automation and basic engagement metrics, so buyers evaluating the platform on analytics depth will need to look elsewhere for specifics.

For an industry increasingly focused on validated, pre-integrated stacks rather than best-of-breed assembly, this is another example of a display maker aligning early with a single CMS partner rather than staying platform-agnostic. Whether that narrows or helps buyers depends on how tightly Avocor commits to Korbyt going forward.

Certifying Korbyt on the B-Series means joint customers get a proven, ready-to-deploy platform on day one, and it gives us a stronger foundation to serve enterprise deployments at scale.”
